Boxers or Briefs?

An antique mall near Livingston, IL.Maybe this is the pink elephant you'll see after you go to the bar in Fieldon.....(see below). From the looks of the building, I think it must have been the old high school for the area.
I'm going to speculate that the owners acquired these "half-elephants" from a zoo or carnival, probably had been on either side of an entrance or attraction. Kinda like book ends!

I'm not sure what this guy was holding originally (my guess would be a beer can or some such thing) but now the poor guy has been relegated to standing in front of the antique store in his boxers. Brad posed with him to give you some idea of scale.
We're going to make it a point to come back here when we vaction next year.....I could hardly resist this time, but we just didn't have time to browse properly--and if you're going to be rushed in an antique store, what's the point....?
