Gobbling Guard

This past Sunday, when we were heading home from church, we spied this confused fellow near K-Mart. There are a lot of turkeys in the area, being near Blackhawk State Park, and they sometimes wander into the road. What really made us chuckle about this guy was how he tried to attack cars that went by him.

This guy in the truck just wasn't sure what to do.....he didn't want to hit the bird and hurt him, but he didn't want to be help captive by him, either!
The gal in the car made her way slowly past this staunch sentinel. Thankfully, he never turned his attentions on us!
