Magic Chickie

Just to prove to you that I've had way too much time on my hands lately--Leo & I found this nifty "Growing Pet Chicken Egg", and couldn't resist the temptation to take him home. As you can see from the packaging, he is "amusing, funny and novel". Yeah, O.K. And who could resist the goofy pics on the back of the box....?

Following the directions proved very easy. Plop him in water, watch him grow. We figured we could handle that.
Here's Chick breaking through his shell...... Yeah, I know, the Pyrex cup isn't exactly the nicest way to come into the world, but I figured Chick wouldn't care too much.

And he's free! Somehow, it wasn't quite as depicted on the box--big surprise there! But it was something to do. Now admit it--you wish you had one, too!
