Mmm, Gelatin Glued Seed Blocks!

We had several ambitious squirrels at our window today, using some novel approaches to feeding. We have some seed blocks hanging from the awning, and, as you can see, the squirrels weren't going to let a little thing like gravity stop them from getting a bellyful. Notice poor Frank, less than three feet from his prey, yet separated by that darn glass. Later, the squirrels were actually climbing on the windowsill, mere inches from Frank's face. He was just dying! They also made every effort to chop chunks off the blocks, which fell to the ground--this proved to be easier for them to munch on, but not as much fun for Frank!
