Jailhouse Junket

Yes, we went to jail for funsies! They gave tours of the new Scott County Jail today, and we couldn't resist. How do you like the new entrance? Very nice!
Leo & Brad in the hallway connecting the new jail with the courthouse. The old jail will be preserved (it's an historic site) and used for office space & storage.
I was a naughty girl here--we were in the "secure" area, where the prisoners will be housed, and I wasn't supposed to take any pics in there. I didn't know this (honest!) until after I'd taken this shot--but since he didn't demand that I delete it, here it is!
Brad & Leo in the "main street" hallway, which leads from the outer hall to the secure area. Yes, I was allowed to take pics here! I wish I could have gotten shots of the cells, but for security reasons, I wasn't allowed. How terribly disappointing! I guess if you want to know what they look like you'll have to get arrested.......
