My mom got baptized Easter Sunday, as many of you know. We were very happy, although mom was a bit nervous about it!
Here she is "pre-dunk"......
......and "post-dunk"! Mom really got a kick out of the baptismal robe--if you have never been in one, they look like a regular "choir robe", though made of nylon--but underneath, they have legs (so the robe doesn't "float up" during the operation!). They do look pretty funny if you've never sen one! Kind of like an 1880's bathing suit.

My the way, my friend Ruth's little girl Maddie is being baptized soon! Thankfully, she will be baptized in their new church building, which has a MUCH bigger baptismal! We look forward to seeing pics of that happy event.
