Koehler Electric used to use these three-wheeled bikes to get around inside factories, years ago. Now these babies are just junk, destined for the scrapheap, UNTIL......
Brad spotted these, and is going to see if we can take them home & fix them up. Now, can't you picture me toodling up to Walgreen's on one of these beauties....? They're sure a lot more stable to ride than regular bikes (since my center of gravity has shifted sadly from my younger days.....) and would provide a really fun way for me to get some exercise on days we don't get to the Y.
Don't laugh too hard--we had a really good time giving these things a try! They both need quite a bit of work, but nothing too awful. They need brakes (that's the big one), and they need to be de-rusted and painted. New seats will be a must......but the tires are the solid ones (remember those, Ruth?) so they will never go flat! And yes, the ride is a lot more comfortable than you might imagine with those tires.
Don't I look marvelous.....?

You and I can use those when we are old and spunky. We can race down the road together with our toothless grins! :O)
